What is it? A time for kidsages five years through teen to get together with other kids and teens who havehad similar experiences to express their grief, find support and continue toheal from their loss. We will also have campfires, games, fun, activities and time to justbe together in a beautifully healing space. The camp is FREE but youmust RSVP to First Steps at 719/884-2466 by June 1st.

Leanne beganher ministry as a chaplain in a children’s hospital has been ministering tohurting children ever since. In TouchingHeaven, she recounts the poignant stories and simple faith of theremarkable children she has been privileged to serve. She shares theirencounters with God, Jesus, and angels. And with humor and tenderness, sheoffers their inspiring testimonies to the presence of God in our lives--even asearthly life is ending. Children have always been close to theheart of God. It is when children are sick, even dying, that they can suddenlybring us closer to God ourselves.
